Accessibility

We believe that it is our duty as an organisation to be as non-disabling as possible. Deaf, disabled, and tākata whaikaha audience and practitioners share the same rights as everyone else in accessing and partaking in the arts. By making accessibility the norm, we can open up possibilities around how we work in and enjoy the arts for everyone.

Dramaturgy Sessions

Script and story development is at the heart of what Prospect Park does. Our resident dramaturgs are available to meet with anyone who has a script or story idea and wishes to get some feedback, or ideas on how to develop their work further.

Please contact h-j@prospectpark.co.nz if you’re interested in meeting with one of our dramaturgs.

Rehearsal and Workshop Space

We have space for hire available to suit a variety of needs, including workshops, rehearsals, and collaborative co-working space.

The Prospect Park offices have a kitchenette and tea and coffee making, as well as access to desks, WIFI and printing facilities.

Our spaces are available to the arts sector via koha, and for non-arts hires at competitive rates. Please contact us to discuss.

Playing Your Part

Keen to ensure the future of a vibrant and accessible local creative sector?

One way you can do this is by contributing to the fit-out and up-keep of our workshop, rehearsal, and collaborative co-working spaces. This enables us to offer local arts practitioners and community a healthy, safe, and accessible space to work and create for koha.

Currently, we are fundraising to fit-out the workshop-rehearsal space and collaborative working space.

Any amount is appreciated. Bank deposits can be made to:
